A real footsore

Homemade caltrops have been found in a park that pose a danger to children playing.

Be wary when allowing your children to play in the park situated in Mathew Street, Del Judor, motorists should also be cautious when taking shortcuts through the area.

Large homemade caltrops have been found in the park in Mathew Street.

Concerned residents found a number of these homemade caltrops in the park on Tuesday September 12.

These pose a danger as the metal points are sharp and if stepped on can cause severe bleeding and damage
