“The suspect ran past me like a flash of lightning. I realised that he was involved in some kind of criminal act, I just did not know the cash-in-transit van I saw moments ago was robbed,” shared an eyewitness of a cash-in-transit robbery earlier this week.
The eyewitness wishes to remain anonymous.
G4S Cash Solutions confirmed that one of their cash vans was robbed on Monday, September 18 after they collected money from one of their clients.
An attempted cash-in-transit heist was foiled on Monday, September 18.
According to Capt Eddie Hall, police spokesperson, the suspects were lingering inside a hardware shop where the money was collected.
