Robbers have a sweet tooth for filling station

A filling station situated in Beatty Avenue was robbed.

On September 22 robbers made their way into the business at about 03:30.

The five suspects stormed into the store, two of them armed with firearms.

They instructed the cashier to lie on the floor, one of the suspects made his way to the till and took the money therein, cigarettes and sweets were also stolen.

The robbers then fled the store leaving the cashier inside, and attendant outside unharmed.
