Home burned to the ground at the dam

A house on the edge of Witbank Dam burned down to the ground even though there was water all around.

House burned down to the ground at Witbank Dam on Saturday, November 11.

On Saturday afternoon, November 11 as people sat at a local gathering point at Witbank Dam they could only watch in horror as the house opposite them was engulfed in flames.

Within minutes there was nothing left of the house, only a few burning embers on the ground.
