A 27 year-old man reported that his vehicle has been hijacked.
The case of hijacked happened on the Saturday, January 13 at about 21:40. The vehicle was hijacked near the Sly Mthimunye Stadium in Ackerville at gunpoint. The hijacked vehicle was a white Audi registration: FV 83 SX GB and the value of the car is R300 000.
The complainant reported that he had parked his car alongside the road while he was busy on the phone when he was approached by four unknown suspects. Two of the suspects pointed him with firearms and instructed him to drive and they dropped him off at Coronation and they then drove off with his vehicle.
Another complainant reported to the police that his vehicle was taken on Tueasday, January 16 at about 21:15 at KwaGuqa in Extension 11 near the Bella Hair Salon. The silver Mistubish registartion number: HWS 046 MP is valued at more than R302 000. Also a cash amount of R250, stationery, bank cards, drivers licence and purse were laso taken.
The 31 year-old complainant said she had parked outside the salon waiting for her daughter as she was fixing her hair. While she was sitting she saw three unknown suspects entering the salon and one of the suspects asked if they do the hair cuts. Suddenly they pointed them with a firearm and came to the vehicle, searched and robbed the above mentioned items then drove away with her vehicle.
A truck was taken at gunpoint at Thabo Mbeki Street in Vosman.
A case of robbery happened on Saturday, January 13 at about 10:30. The 30 year-old victim reported that his white Isuzu truck registartion number: DJS 063 MP valued at R260 000 was taken at gunpoint. The complainant reported that he was at his house when two unknown suspects knocked at the door and he opened.
They told him that they were looking for Mr Mabaso’s truck which was parked outside. The complainant went back to the house in order to take his cell phone to call the truck owner to confirm what the two suspects were saying. The suspects followed him into the house, they pointed a firearm at him and demanded the truck keys.
He was ordered to drive the truck to the direction of Pretoria, along the way he was ordered to stop. He was taken into a white VW Polo with registration number: EMP 330 GP, later he was blindfolded and taken into a white BMW (wthout registartions numbers). They kept him busy by asking him questions, dropped him on the N4 Highway and they disappeared.
Police are investigating all the case and no one has been arrested.
