Drug dealers in eMalahleni thought they are wearing their big boy pants while walking through the streets.
The Witbank Police made two drug arrests in the past week in the CBD (Central Business District); both suspects hid the drugs in their pants.
On February 3, police were patrolling the streets when they spotted a suspicious man on his way to an unknown vehicle. He then spotted the men in blue and started heading in another direction. The police cornered him and asked to search him; they found plastic bags containing cream powder suspected to be drugs.
The suspect was then arrested and the drugs were booked in at the Police Station for further investigation.
Later on the same day police suspected illegal activity in Roger Street and decided to search any suspicious person. The police searched a specific suspect and found dagga hidden in his pants.
The suspect was arrested and a case was opened for being in possession of drugs.
