
Two businesses were allegedly robbed on the same day.
It is alleged that on Wednesday, June 13, two businesses in eMalahleni were robbed. At about 17:30 a local business in Geringer Street locked up and closed for the day.
However later that evening a call was received by the employee of the shop and he was told to go to the shop.
Upon his arrival he noticed that the window had been broken and knew that that was the point of entry. He also then noticed that three till drawers had been stolen. No arrests have yet been made.

On the same day a business in Voortrekker Street also got robbed. It is alleged that at about 16:10 four African males entered the café while the owner was busy with the cash collector.
Allegedly one of the four men pulled out a firearm and demanded to have the cash.
Another suspect opened the till and took the cash from inside.
The suspect left the café and sped off in a white Ford Bantam with registration number HJN 470 MP. No arrests have yet been made.
