Another car hijacked at the Bell-Air Pub in Ackerville

The 41 year-old car owner told the police that he had parked his vehicle at the popular place and was leaning against it as it was idling

The police reported that the car was hijacked on Friday, August 17 at 19:30.

The 41 year-old car owner told the police that he had parked his vehicle at the popular place and was leaning against it as it was idling however the key was not in the ignition but in his possession as it start by using a button.

He was surprised when the vehicle was reversed and bumped him. When he went to the driver’s side, he noticed two unknown suspects.

He tried to grab the steering however the suspects pushed him away and drove away with the vehicle.

The Blue Havaal H2 with registration number EVM 297 MP, valued at R350 000, was then taken.

The police are looking for the two suspects and nobody has been arrested.
