The police statistics for crime during 2017 and 2018 has been released on Tuesday, September 11.
There have been a total of 2 578 contact crimes reported at Witbank Police Station.
Sexual Offences increased this year as there was a total of 140 sexual offence cases opened compared to last years 121 cases opened.

A total of 393 contact related crimes were reported to Witbank SAPS.
3 317 Property related crimes were also reported, this was a decrease compared to 3 567 crimes reported the previous year.
A shocking 9 034 serious crimes were reported at the station.
The Witbank Police station also appeared on the top 30 stations and took the 7th place. Hillbrow is in 9th place and Sunnyside in 15th.
