Vosman police puts South African drug dealer behind bars

On Friday, 19 October the Central Intelligence got a tip off about a South African citizen that deals with drugs from his home in Vosman.

“They got the information and applied for a warrant of arrest, once they received the warrant they went to make the bust,” explained Constable Kgomotso Maluleke, Communications Officer at Phola Police Station.

Drugs and an undisclosed amount of cash had been found in the suspect’s home.

“The drugs that had been found have a street value of R1800 along with a large sum of money,” constable Maluleke further explained.

The suspect is a 50 year old African male and he is a citizen of South Africa.

He was arrested and appeared in the Witbank Magistrate Court on Monday, 22 October. He will appear in court again on Monday, 29 October for a bail application.
