The police and CPF members conducted a random search at Phillip Ndimande Secondary School on Thursday, October 18 as requested by the school governing body and the parents.

The police found dagga, cigarettes, dangerous weapons including knives and other dangerous weapons which were all seized by the police.
Constable Kgomotso Maluleke sensitized parents to always search their children’s school bags to see whether they do not carry dangerous weapons or drugs to school.

She added to say that they need to work hand in hand with the police and teachers to prevent crime happening in schools.
