A man was so unfortunate when he had a puncture on the Mathew Phosa Street off ramp in Vosman.

The 52-year old reported that while he was trying to fix the flat tyre on his car, he was approached by three suspects on Friday, November 2 at about 20:30.

He reported that he was on his way from KwaGuqa in Extension 5 to his place of residence at Tasbet Park when he had a puncture.

He stopped along the side of the road to fix it.

While busy, three suspects approached him and offered to help him; he told them that he can manage.

Suddenly two suspects pointed firearms at him and instructed him to raise his hands.

They searched him and took his 9mm pistol and they left the scene.

The value of the gun is R3 500.

Police are investigating the case and no one has been arrested.
