
Within four days members from Witbank Police Station arrested 11 people who had drugs in their possession.
On Saturday, November 3 the police managed to arrest five people in one day. Police were patrolling French Street when they stopped a 38-year old man standing next to a tree.
When the suspect saw the police van he moved very fast and crouched down behind a vehicle. He was approached by the police who started searching him and inside his jean pockets they found drugs to the valve of R5 000.
He was arrested and taken to Witbank Police Station.
In Allenby Street three arrests were made during different times of the day.
Men aged 26, 32 and 35 years old were all arrested in Allenby for the possession or usage of dependence producing substances.
As police were patrolling random parts of eMalahleni they stopped a group of five men who were walking across a road.

The police started searching them and one of the suspects, a 30-year old man had a small bag of white powder inside his pocket. He was arrested for possession or usage of a dependence producing substance.
On Friday, November 2 another five suspects were taken off the streets after they were arrested with drugs in their possession.
A 42-year old man was arrested in Walter Sisulu Street, when police noticed two men exchanging something to one another.
The police searched them and 10 small pinches were found in his possession.
In a different case a 30-year old man was arrested when he was found with a match box inside his jacket pocket.
As police patrolled the streets, they stopped a 32-year old and a 31-year-old man. These men were acting suspiciously.

They searched them and drugs were found in their possession.
An intelligence-driven sting operation followed a tip-off regarding a person who was dealing in drugs in a certain house.
Upon arrival at the identified place, police conducted a search which led to the discovery of drugs, namely, cocaine, heroin, and crystal meth worth an estimated street value of R11 500.
The 34-year old was arrested and taken into police custody.
In a separate case on Wednesday, October 31 police patrolling the N12 highway noticed a 36-year old man wearing a blue suit jacket with stripes.
He was searched and police found drugs on him.
