A heap-load of drugs were seized, valued at an estimate half a million, last week Friday, November 23.

After information was received of an alleged drug dealer in Model Park, an operation team was formed to search the premise.

With a search warrant, officers set out to the house in a tactical intelligence driven operation with Witbank CCCT and Middelburg K9-unit as supporting units.

Upon police arrival, the suspect was not home but his home was searched and the drugs were hidden in his bedroom and in the kitchen.

The seizure of drugs included 659 ecstasy with an estimated value of R46 130, 106.4 grams half moon rocks with an estimated value of R31 920, 85 grams of CAT with an estimated value of R19 550, 75 grams of crystal meth with an approximate value of R23 400, four mandrax tablets to an estimated value of R240, 687.2 grams of heroin worth approximately R192 416, 20 rocks cocaine valued at an estimate of R6 000 and

1 034 grams of CAT valued at an estimated R237 452.

Six bags of five gram-bags were found containing CAT valued at an estimated R6 000 along with three cell phones.

The total value of the seized drugs is R563 108.

It was reported that a test tube was found in the kitchen, as well as a scale and everything was booked in at the Police Station.

The owner of the house was not home during the search and by the time of going to print no arrests have been made.
