He was found guilty on one count of robbery

Two law breaking residents of eMalahleni were successfully sentenced in Witbank Magistrate’s Court.

On Wednesday, February 6 the magistrate had the final say about what the next few years in these two convicted criminals’ lives would look like.

Thulani Calvin Khumalo was involved in robbing the American Swiss store in Highveld Mall on November 2017.

He was found guilty of and sentenced for robbery (12 years imprisonment), possession of an unlicensed firearm (three years imprisonment), unlawful possession of ammunition (six months imprisonment.) Khumalo had also been found unfit to posses a firearm.

Thero Sennelo (26) robbed Markhams in eMalahleni CBD during November 2017.

He was found guilty on one count of robbery. He received a sentence of seven years imprisonment. He too was found unfit to own a firearm.

This proofs that even if it takes time, justice will always be served.
