The spring of life: found in Klipfontein

The water spouting out of Ol’ Faithful isn’t natural spring water

Birkholtz Street in Klipfontein is not known for its stunning natural landscapes and wildlife.

It is, however, now known for Ol’ Faithful – a geyser which suddenly made its appearance on the morning of February 8.

The water spouting out of Ol’ Faithful isn’t natural spring water, however, it’s our precious drinking water.

Clean drinking water; of which there already is a shortage in eMalahleni.

The WITBANK NEWS approached Kingdom Mabuza, municipal spokesperson, and asked him why the pipe under the tar had burst and whether it had been difficult to affect repairs.

He replied with the following; “We have alerted officials in our water section and they will attend to this leak. Regards, Kingdom.”
