Thirteen bodies brought to surface at Gloria Mine

The total number of bodies retrieved now is 18

More bodies of the illegal miners were brought to surface, yet still nine bodies unaccounted for.

On Friday afternoon, February 22 the Proto teams managed to find another 13 bodies and they were brought to the surface. They were all declared dead on scene.

It was reported to the local police station that 22 illegal miners were involved in an explosion on Gloria mine on Monday, February 4.

So far it is estimated that the teams will go down again next week to find the remaining nine bodies.
