“I was never so scared in my life. Imagine 22 people hijacking your vehicle.”
Mr Mathatha Mola (39) is shaken about the hijacking that happened on February 22.
Mola told WITBANK NEWS that he stopped at a stop street in the central business district when the doors to his Iveco bus was opened and 22 people chased his passengers out.
They told him that they will give him directions and he must just drive.
They directed him to Khutala Mine.
“They did not mention anything about a strike. I was not sure why they would want me to take them to the mine,” he said.
At Khutala Mine Mola saw a policeman and told him what happened.
The suspects apparently scrambled out of his vehicle and ran away.
Unfortunately for two, the policemen were too quick and they were arrested on the spot.
