Crime never seems to stop in eMalahleni.
A theft of truck, a business and an armed robbery were reported.
A Bokamoso Drilling Pty Ltd truck was reported stolen at 3 Walter Battis Street in Klipfontein on February 25 between 18:00 that day and 13:00 the following day.
The white Isuzu F Series truck with registration number JTB 268 MP alongside locks and motor gate, all worth R404 125, were allegedly stolen from the yard and the suspects gained entrance by taking the motor gate and the locks.
The business robbery was reported in Ansia Supermarket on the corner of Voortrekker and Christian Streets on February 27 at around 18:30.
The complainant alleged that four adult males approached him while he was about to leave after closing his shop.
The suspects allegedly had firearms in their possession.
They allegedly forced him to reopen the shop and threatened to kill him if he did not.
They allegedly took four cell phones, cigarettes, car keys and cash of R30 000 and fled the scene thereafter.
Later on the same evening, an armed robbery was reported in Claredon Street in Ext 10 next to a tuck shop at around 20:30.
The complainant allegedly parked his white Nissan hardbody bakkie with registration number JCS 133 MP next to a tuck shop to buy airtime.
He took the keys and left his brother inside the vehicle.
When he walked back to the vehicle, four African males came running from the corner of the tuck shop. He opened the driver’s door and two of the males allegedly pointed a firearm at him and grabbed the keys from him.
The suspects drove off with the vehicle.
The brother got out of the vehicle and ran away.
All the suspects involved in the crimes are unknown.
