Mr Steven Mthethwa has no where to go with his family

No agreement or contracts were signed

Mr Steven Mthethwa came to WITBANK NEWS offices close to his tears claiming that he has been threatened with eviction by Bishop Jeremiah Zulu.

According to Mthethwa he said after he had financial problems in his company he was put in the bishop’s house by Prophet Peter Zarona.

No agreement or contracts were signed.

“Bishop Zulu wants to put new tenants in the house and I was told to move out with my family. The only problem is that I have no place to go. I will have to stay in the open with my wife and three children, one of which still attends school,” stated Mthethwa.

Mthethwa also claims that there are illegal connections in the house to a neighbour.

Bishop Jeremiah Zulu said that Mthethwa was given three months notice to vacate the house as the house will be taken back by Eskom, the owners of the house.

“Mr Mthethwa was given enough time to look for an alternative house after staying in the house for free. I had taken him in out of kindness as I look after destitute people. I told him that Eskom need their house back and he has to be out by March 20 so that the house can be cleaned and be inspected and the keys handed back on March 30 according to my contract with Eskom,” explained Bishop Zulu.

Bishop Zulu also stated that Mthethwa do have relatives who are prepared to help him out and denies any illegal connections in the house.
