Hundreds light up at Laerskool Klipfontein’s Glow Run
The glow run featured a challenging 10km race, and participants gave it their all.
Laerskool Klipfontein lit up eMalahleni during its annual glow run on August 26, drawing hundreds of participants.
Now in its third year, the event has grown into one of the most successful fun runs in the city, consistently attracting between 800 and 1 000 participants. Families, athletes and community members gathered under the night sky to enjoy a mix of fitness and fun.
A race for all fitness levels
The glow run featured a variety of races, including a 10km race for seasoned runners and a 4.9km fun walk/run designed to accommodate participants of all ages and fitness levels.
The bright neon lights and energetic music created a festive atmosphere.

Resounding success
According to Laerskool Klipfontein student council mentors Angelique Henning, Carmi Visser and Pieter Zeelie, this year’s glow run was a resounding success.
They highlighted the strong turnout, the enthusiastic spirit of the participants and thanked the organisers and parents involved.
