The R555, better known as the Old Middelburg Road, has claimed yet another life.
On March 30 at approximately 14:00 a 31-year-old male biker allegedly hit a pedestrian that was crossing the R555 between old Safari filling station and Clearwater Estate turn-off.
The motorbike rider unfortunately passed away on scene if the accident, whilst it is reported that the pedestrian was taken to hospital for further treatment.
The SAPS were on scene within minutes, supported by first responders- the South African Community Crime Watch (SACCW).
