Drug trade given a hard knock

The total value of drugs and cash seized is R342 699

The drug trade were given a good knock after a very successful drug bust as the weekend kicked off.

Two suspects were arrested for possession of drugs.

The first is a 35-year-old man who allegedly had drugs with a street value of R1 000 with him.

The second suspect is a 44-year-old man whose house was searched after a tip-off.

Police found drugs to the value of R6 000.

For the third arrest police deserves a round of applause.

They confiscated 5 095 straws of heroine to the value of R254 750, 1 642 straws of cocaine worth R49 260 and 70 bags of dagga neatly packed in zip locked bags worth R1 400 on March 29.

R36 639 in cash was also confiscated.

The total value of drugs and cash seized is R342 699.

This success comes after information was received of an alleged drug dealer dealing from his house in Phola.

While the streets were still quiet and everyone fast asleep in their beds police knocked on the suspect’s door and searched his premises.
