Fix your eyes on ‘Sightless’

He came up with the title “Sightless” because of the characters’ inability to see what is in front of them despite everything being visibly clear

“Sightless” is a psychological drama book written by a local writer and photographer Nollan Moosa.

The book was published online on March 31 this year and according to Moosa it has received good response.

According to a description of the book on Amazon Kindle, the book is based on four young individuals whose lives are coincided, each one facing daily challenges as children and grow older as the story progresses.

The 29-year-old author said that his motivation to write the book was from the things that he has witnessed happening and what people go through.

He said that his book is for everyone.

“I have a universal target market. It ranges from kids in school who are bullied, who grow up through hardships at home, teenagers and their first time experiences, and adults raising their kids well and others who seem to fail,” he explained.

“Sightless” is his first book and it took him almost four months to write it.

He is at the moment working on the second sequel of the book with “Sightless” being the first sequel.

He came up with the title “Sightless” because of the characters’ inability to see what is in front of them despite everything being visibly clear.

He added: “I made the cover purple because it puts emphasis on mysteries of what is not known.”

According to an editorial online review by Kimberly Shana, a journalist and make-up artist who helped Moosa with the editing of the book states that the book touches on elements of living that are thoroughly relatable to real life people.

Moosa encourages people that they should read.

“I would like to encourage people, both young and old, to read more because it broadens your horizon, it teaches you new things and it betters your vocabulary,” he said.

Mr Moosa said that he is planning to have the book available on hardcopy by May and will also host a launch for the book.
