On April 17 early morning an anonymous bypasser made a gruesome discovery when he spotted a newborn baby lying in the grass next to the busy road.
SAPS were dispatched to the scene and the South African Community Crime Watch (SACCW) dispatched ER24 where they declared the newborn dead on scene.
A case of concealment of birth was opened and is being investigated by the police.
