Well many people are standing in the queue to vote, Pastor Jeremiah Zulu sent out teams to walk around the city to pray.
On Wednesday, May 8 the Election 2019 took place across the whole of South Africa.
As people decide to make their mark, people were walking around praying for the city and blowing the horn.
Today is an important day for the country, each vote counts.
Father of lights, we thank You for every good & perfect gift. We praise You as the One with whom there’s no variation or shadow due to change.
As we come today the *Election Day*, we ask for wisdom, knowing that You love to give generously to all without reproach.
Forgive us for too often exhibiting the anger of man that does not produce the righteousness of God. May we put away all filthiness & rampant wickedness & receive with meekness the implanted Word.
We thank You for the many freedoms we enjoy in South Africa – for the rights to worship, to speak & to assemble.
Despite our many failings & sins as a nation, I pray that in Your mercy You would give us Better Leaders, Legislators & Judges than we deserve.
We ask for Your Blessing that we may continue to be free & prosperous people & Bless us as a Country.
Grant us this Wednesday the courage to stand up for what is right, the strength to try to make a difference & the Gospel-formed humility to accept that there are no Messiahs except for Jesus & No Heaven on Earth except the one awaiting us at the end of the age I Pray In Jesus Mighty Name. *AMEN*.
