A stillborn baby was discovered on the dumping site next to Schoongezight.
On May 20 police received a complaint that an infant wrapped in plastic was found.
According to Sgt Khomotso Maluleke, three men looking for scrap on the dumping site when they smelled a bad odour.
They searched through all the rubbish until they discovered the baby.
A case docket of concealing of birth was opened and the infant was taken by pathology. There are no traces of the mother.
