Thievery by numbers

For months now, someone has been stealing copper and brass house numbers (and even post boxes), but this plague has now come to an end

In common usage, theft is the taking of another person’s property or services without that person’s permission or consent with the intent to deprive the rightful owner of it.

CSC Tactical has finally apprehended the infamous house-number thief.

On Friday, August 16 at approximately 04:00, members of CSC Tactical saw a suspicious figure luring around the neighbourhood.

For months now, someone has been stealing copper and brass house numbers (and even post boxes), but this plague has now come to an end.

The members of CSC Tactical caught the number-thief red-handed with an armful of stolen house numbers.

The suspect immediately admitted his guilt, and was later identified to be someone living in the very same neighbourhood that he was stealing from – proving once again that you can’t necessarily trust your neighbours.
