Brand new face as Station Commander at Witbank SAPS

He is originally from the South Coast but he’s been in the Free State, Gauteng and Nelspruit, before eMalahleni and said that he is very excited for his new venture

The Witbank SAPS is boasting with a brand new face as Station Commander.

Brig Lindani Ndlovu joined the team on July 7 and with all his experience he will sure be a great addition to the SAPS family.

He is originally from the South Coast but he’s been in the Free State, Gauteng and Nelspruit, before eMalahleni and said that he is very excited for his new venture.

“I was working in the Nelspruit Provincial Office as co-ordinator commander in crime prevention. I came to Mpumalanga in 2010 and I was in Baberton and in KwaMhlanga.”

He added that he is happily married with three sons.

“My eldest will be in standard six next year, the middle one is now in grade two and the youngest is not in school yet. “My plans for eMalahleni are to eradicate crime and work hand-in-hand with the community. I believe that there are various stakeholders who work with the police. I believe it is do-able and we can make it work. I am mindful of the Witbank Station and it requires us to be vigilant at all times. It is definitely possible to reduce crime,” added Brig Ndlovu. “I believe that in this month there have been robberies but there were also arrests. We will keep going and we will make even more arrests.”

Brig Lindani Ndlovu added: “We want the community to have faith in the police. The team and I are here for them. We will assist them and welcome them at the station. They can ask for Capt Eddie Hall; ask for me and we will assist them as we can.”
He concluded with a warning: “The criminals must be aware, we are right behind them.”
