Rush on the roads lead to mishaps
The truck driver alleged that the bakkie bumped his truck at the back and it overturned

Two accidents were reported on the same day when one man was declared deceased in one of the accidents.
On Saturday, August 31 a man succumbed to an accident involving a Toyota bakkie and truck on the National Road N12 at around 18:00 in the evening.
On the arrival of the Phola police officials, they found the bakkie on an upside down position with its tyres facing up.
A man was found seriously injured inside the bakkie and a body of a man was found next to the bakkie.
The truck driver alleged that the bakkie bumped his truck at the back and it overturned.
The injured man was rushed to the hospital and the deceased was declared dead by paramedics.
Earlier the same day, two cars were reported to have collided at the R545 Balmoral Kendal road.
Upon the arrival of Phola police officials, they found a Mazda 3 and a Toyota Etios that have collided and both vehicles damaged.
Two men were found on the scene seriously injured.
They were both rushed to the hospital.
