They were praying for peace and stability in the municipality, praying for the fight against poverty as well as praying for the Moral Regeneration Movement

Pastors from the different churches of the city came together to pray for peace.

The prayer session was held on Wednesday, September 4.

They came together and prayed in front of the municipality building and after that, they divide themselves to go to different key points in the city entrance and exit points.

They were praying for peace and stability in the municipality, praying for the fight against poverty as well as praying for the Moral Regeneration Movement.

They were praying for an end to depression and suicide cases as well as the killing of children and women and abuse.

They were praying for the abuse of alcohol and substance abuse and the municipality for service delivery and for stability in the finances in the city.

They pray to encourage people to pay the services they receive from the municipality as well.

Cllr Mswati Nkosi representing the executive mayor thanked the pastors for praying for the city.

Balloons with positive messages were later released to the sky.
