A man has been robbed of more than R42 000 in Lynnville.

The man reported to the police in Vosman that he was in his car with a friend at Tshaka Street in Lynnville on Friday, August 30 at about 11:40.

He said that while he was preparing to pay his employees, he was approached by four suspects who were armed.

He had earlier on withdrawn the money in Klipfontein.

He was ordered to hand over the money (R42 300) while they pointed guns at him.

His cell phone and that of his friend were also taken by the suspects together with the car keys.

The suspects were driving a white VW Polo with an unknown registration number.

The police are looking for the four suspects and are investigating a case of armed robbery.
