Toyota invites Cansa for Casual Day

Event organizer at Toyota Witbank, Celeste de Koker said that Cansa Highveld was invited so that the employees at the dealership can do something fun for the day

Barloworld Toyota Witbank invited Cansa Highveld for a sprayathon to celebrate Casual Day.

The rain and cold weather certainly did not stop the Toyota dealership members from enjoying the day.

Friday, September 6 was recognised nationally as Casual Day.

Prior the day, Casual Day stickers were sold to fundraise and create awareness for people with disabilities and the day recognized as the flagship project of the National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD).

Event organizer at Toyota Witbank, Celeste de Koker said that Cansa Highveld was invited so that the employees at the dealership can do something fun for the day.

She added: “We also wanted to support Cansa Highveld branch. We are also looking into having something like this in the future where the public can get involved.”

Cansa Highveld community mobiliser Mthokozisi Nkambule said that the dealership approached them that they would like to host a fundraising event with them.

“We suggest that we can have a sprayathon and a few prizes for them as part of Casual Day.” He added: “We would like to thank them for the support and hopefully we will maintain the relationship for the future.”

Mrs Mpumalanga Finalist Mrs Roxy van Bruwaene attended the event and sprayed every one who participated in the sprayathon.
