Man shot at trying to save girls from robbery

Why is that when you try to help someone from danger, you end up being the one getting more hurt?

A man nearly died when he tried to save two girls from being robbed by three men.

The man was visiting his girlfriend at her place in Extension 5 on Thursday, September 19 at around 20:50 in the evening.

While he waited for his girlfriend to get into his car, he saw three men trying to rob two girls on the same street he was at.

The girls screamed for help and he then drove towards the scene when one of the suspects shot at his vehicle; luckily he managed to get away.

He opened an attempted murder case at Witbank Police Station.

A projectile was found on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
