The local entrepreneurs who applied and qualified for the programme operate in the construction, industrial hygiene, event management, and mechanical sectors
Shell’s flagship enterprise-development launched in our city and there are exciting things ahead.
Shell LiveWIRE launched on Wednesday, September 25.
The global program, which has been facilitated locally since 2014 by Shell’s preferred enterprise-development partner, Raizcorp, saw four successful applicants from the eMalahleni region selected for this year-long programme.
Selome Fenyane, Prosperator Manager at Raizcorp eMalahleni says: “We are delighted to be working with Shell in offering local SMEs internationally acclaimed entrepreneurial learning, individual business guidance, access to infrastructure, access to specialists and back-office support.”
The program’s focus is on training and equipping young people from eMalahleni and Gauteng with the necessary entrepreneurial skills in order to combat the high levels of unemployment and widespread poverty, and to further help promote South Africa’s economic development.
The local entrepreneurs who applied and qualified for the programme operate in the construction, industrial hygiene, event management, and mechanical sectors.
The successful candidates of the Shell LiveWIRE programme 2019 are Brian Nkosi of Siwela Services Group, Thulani Mnyakeni of Strictly Projects, Solomon Mbokazi from Phakama Industrial and Billy Gadebe of Big Broz Radebe CC.
“We look forward to embarking on this journey with these talented entrepreneurs and having a meaningful impact on eMalahleni’s small business sector,” concludes Fenyane.
