On October 1 and October 2 three arrests were made relating to drug possession.

On Tuesday, October 1 an arrest was made when police officers were on duty patrolling when they spotted a group of men standing on Collyer Avenue in Witbank Ext 10.

They were suspicious; the police officers approached and searched them.

On one of the suspects they found a piece of white substance known to be an illicit drug with a scent of vinegar and one poke of dagga wrapped in a newspaper.

On Wednesday, October 2 the second arrest was made when police members were on duty patrolling when they noticed a suspicious person.

The police members then stopped and searched him; in his possession they found drugs.

The third arrest also happened on Wednesday.
