Robbed while fixing a truck tyre

A truck driver was robbed while they were trying to fix the truck tyre.
The incident happened on Wednesday, October 2 at about 19:30 on the N4 highway.
The truck driver told the police that he had a puncture in one of the tyres as he was travelling from Kendal to eMalahleni near the Vosman on ramp.
He inform his company and a mechanic was sent to help him.
As they were busy fixing the tyre, they were approached by five suspects; one of them was armed.
He told them not to move, they were searched and they were robbed of their cell phones, cash and some items from the truck.
The value of all items taken is R7 000.
Police are investigating the case and no one has been arrested.
