Planned power outage at Paul Sauer Substation

Notice is hereby given to the public that the electrical department will perform a power outage at Paul Sauer Substation on Friday, October 18 between 08:00 and 11:00 for the purpose of installing a Transformer Protection Panel at Paul Sauer Substation.

A 22kV Transformer protection panel burnt down and went for repairs; it’s now ready to be re-installed.

The following areas will be affected by the shutdown:

Ben Fleur Extensions, Reyno Ridge Extensions 4 and 6, Reyno Ridge Proper, area of Sewendelaan and Reyno Manor, Ben Fleur Boulevard and Bankenveld Golf Estate.

The affected area was identified on date of advertising but can change due to ring feeds on the network and it is recommended that the network be treated as live during this period.
