Life lost after horrific accident on Bethal Road

A man sadly passed away after a horrific accident that occurred on the Bethal Road near Benicon.
On Sunday evening, 20 October three vehicles were involved in an accident that led to the death of one man and critical injuries of another.
The injured passengers were transported to Witbank Hospital where they were attended to.
Gavin Cooper from Legacy Emergency Specialists explained that the Volkswagen Golf was ripped into two pieces.
The deceased was the driver of this Golf.
The driver of the Golf was declared dead on scene by a paramedic from iGagu EMS.
The deceased was not identified by his family before the time of going to print.
The cause of the accident is still unknown but a case of culpable homicide has been opened at Witbank Police Station and it will be investigated.
