The past week a lot has happened in the Central Business District (CBD) but yet again another superstore were the target for robbers.
It is believed that on October 18, two white Volkswagen Polo’s were fleeing the scene where they tried to rob a superstore in Diederichs Street.
The suspects did not succeed to rob the store from its cash flow but managed to get away with petty cash.
They left the scene after causing a lot of chaos.
In their attempt of the robbery they managed to shoot a customer in the leg.
The victim could not be reached before going to print.
No arrests were made but the police are still investigating the case.
