WAU (Women’s Agricultural Union) gives back.

The women of the WAU came together to shine light on the outcry regarding the struggling community in the Karoo; these passionate women came together and initiated a project that consists of pure humanity.

On Thursday, October 24 the WAU (Women’s Agricultural Union) held a branch meeting.

They came together in the spirit of giving back to a struggling community in the Karoo in the Western Cape.

There were fun elements that were included in the meeting – one of them was a bake enlightenment session; teaching the ladies how to bake using a microwave.

The ladies made packages that consisted of canned food, dry goods and toiletries which were donated by various communities and wrapped into gift boxes.

The WAU is very thankful for the contribution; these little efforts make someone else’s life a little more bearable.
