Three robberies in two days – robbers might be after your shop

Three local businesses were robbed within two days.

During the early morning hours of Thursday, November 28 a garage in Klarinet was robbed by two black males.

Allegedly the employee of the garage was on duty at about 03:00 in the morning when he heard a loud knock against the window.

“I checked to see who it was and I saw it was a black male so I opened the window to speak to him,” the employee said.

“As soon as he came in another man followed and that was when the first one started to point a gun at me,” he further told.

All of the employees fell to the floor while the armed men were in the shop.

While the employees were on the floor the suspects made their way to the back of the shop and took lots of items.

The suspects got away.

All relevant role-players attended to the scene.

Later on the same day, at about 08:30 the post office in Tasbet Park also suffered a loss after armed robbers appeared.

One of the employees heard that the people outside of the office started to make a noise.

“I went to check why they were making a noise and that was when I saw a guy with a gun that said he wants to go into the office,” one of the employees said.

Allegedly another male appeared and joined the first suspect.

The suspects demanded money from the office and as soon as they got what they wanted, they left.

No arrests have yet been made.

Just one day later another business was robbed.

On Friday, November 29 another shop in Klarinet was robbed by armed men and one of the employees even got shot in his legs.

Allegedly three employees of the shop were at their place of employment when the three males entered the shop.

“One of them had a gun and he pointed it towards me while the other two were searching the shop,” one of the employees explained.

Allegedly the suspect then fired a shot and the complainant was shot in the leg.

The suspects got away with three cell phones.

Police are still investigating this case.
