A horrific accident in Ga-Nala claimed the life of a 35-year-old man.

The accident happened on November 27.

Provincial police spokesperson Brig Leonard Hlathi urged motorists to be very careful when traveling this festive season.

“With the festive season on our doorstep, many South Africans are likely to be in the final stages of planning their holiday activities, most of which will include road travel. It is a massively underrated responsibility you take on when you sit behind that wheel and it is important not to forget the basics, do not drink and drive. Motorists should also remember to only ever overtake others when it is safe to do so.”
