Two women allegedly raped by boyfriends

She threatened them that she will call the police but her boyfriend’s friend allegedly said he is not afraid of the police

Women are continually becoming victims of rape committed by their lovers.

Two women reported rape cases on separate days and alleged that they were raped by their boyfriends.

One case was reported to have taken place in Springvalley on Wednesday, November 27 at around 14:00.

The woman alleged that she was with her friend when she received a call from her boyfriend.

Her boyfriend told them to come over to his friend’s place and when they got there, her boyfriend asked her about an affair she was having.

Allegedly, the boyfriend hit her until she agreed about the affair.

Thereafter, he took her to the bedroom and instructed her to take off her clothes while also threatening her.

He proceeded to rape her and thereafter called his friend who also raped her.

She threatened them that she will call the police but her boyfriend’s friend allegedly said he is not afraid of the police.

The other case was reported to have taken place in Old Coronation on Sunday, December 1, between 02:00 and 04:00 in the morning.

The woman alleged that at about 01:00 in the morning, her boyfriend started accusing her of having an affair with one of his friends.

He also started assaulting her on her face and fortunately, he was stopped by the neigbours.

He left and came back finding the woman sleeping wearing clothes.

He asked her to take off the clothes but she refused to.

He then allegedly forcefully undressed her and raped her.

She waited until the morning to report the matter to the police because she could not leave after the incident as she was not familiar with the place she was at.

Both the cases were reported to the Witbank Police Station.
