Looking burglars in the eye just after midnight
The suspects loaded everything they stole into the Volkswagen City Golf with registration number BTW 735 MP and took off
A family had to look burglars in the eye as they woke up just after midnight finding the suspects standing next to their bed.
It is alleged that on Friday, December 6 a woman and her husband were asleep in their bed when they were woken up by their son.
As they woke up, they saw four African males standing next to their son.
Allegedly the four men were armed with guns.
It is alleged that the suspects instructed the family to sit still and stay quiet.
One of the African men started to tie the family up, first the father, then the son and lastly the mother.
While the family was tied up, the suspects searched through the house; it was during this time that the man informed them he does not own a weapon as he thought that is what they were looking for.
A few minutes later the family heard their vehicle start.
The suspects loaded everything they stole into the Volkswagen City Golf with registration number BTW 735 MP and took off.
The suspects got away with cell phones, a microwave and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police are investigating the case.
