Ten year old boy drowns at resort in eMalahleni

Christmas came to a devastating end after a 10-year-old boy drowned at a resort in eMalahleni.

Paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene shortly after the incident occurred and found bystanders performing CPR to the boy lying next to the swimming pool.

The medics immediately attended to the boy and performed CPR as well as provided advanced life support interventions.

The boy was then transported to Witbank General Hospital where he received further treatments.

Sadly no vital signs returned and the boy was declared dead.

This case is being investigated as the circumstances regarding this incident are still unknown.
