In an effort to give applause to courage, a Good Samaritan avails herself to commend the bravery of “essential services workers.” who risks their lives to help residents of eMalahleni during the pandemic COVID-19, despite the national lockdown.
Businesswomen, Alsonia Duroy (25) who described herself as a charitable person, is the owner of Indulgence Beauty Spa and founder of a non-profit organization, The Harmony Initiative says, she is prepared to give free full-body massages to about 60 essential services employees in eMalahleni to say “thank you, for your sacrifice and bravery.” after the long 21 days of national lockdown.
“Most of the essential services workers take risks and they do not have a choice, so I wanted to give back in a way that I know-how. Many people, under normal circumstances, reward themselves with full-body massages so I want to give essential workers a treatment to say thank you on behalf of the eMalahleni community,” explained Alsonia.
“We are able to get essentials we need, because of them and I hope to inspire other spas within the city to do the same as well,” she added.
The spa is situated at Saveways Crescent Centre.
