Curro Bankenveld gearing up for reopening

In the countdown towards D-day, the focus is on ensuring that all health and safety requirements are prioritised. Curro Bankenveld is ready to tackle the remainder of the academic year.

Schools are making progress in preparations to reopen next week.

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga said that the first schools will open from June 1 – including public and private schools.

“Independent and public ordinary schools will open even in the metropolitan areas. Every school must adhere to and observe the health and safety protocols that will be put in place. We will start with grades seven and 12 and small schools. The other grades will follow in due course,” said the minister.

Small schools are ones with not more than 125 pupils.
