Serious accident on R555

On May 27, Langamed ambulance services arrived on the scene for medical assistance. They stabilised the driver of the bakkie until a Netcare 911 helicopter flew in and transported the patient to a hospital.

A huge accident occurred on the R555 Ogies Road where a bakkie collided with a cash-in-transit van.

On May 27, Langamed ambulance services arrived on the scene for medical assistance. They stabilised the driver of the bakkie until a Netcare 911 helicopter flew in and transported the patient to a hospital.

According to a bystander a white single cab bakkie lost control around the bend and collided with the cash-in-transit van that left the driver seriously injured.

Mr Dino Padayachee, chief executive officer of Langamed said the driver was trapped inside the bakkie and they treated and stabilised the patient until Witbank Fire Department arrived to extricate the severely injured man.
