An African queen to represent eMalahleni

The beautiful Trudy Morewane entered for Ms Africa 2021 beauty pageant and managed to secure space for herself in the Top 25 finalists and to compete with other African queens.

Never mind race, ethnicity, or everything else, all that matters is that African blood runs in all of us and that makes us kings and queens.

Trudy Morewane is no different but what makes her different is that she is taking her African beauty out of eMalahleni to the rest of the world.

Trudy entered for Ms Africa 2021 beauty pageant and managed to secure space for herself in the Top 25 finalists and to compete with other African queens.

A lot of people might know Trudy as a fashion model, a beauty pageant competitor and a brand ambassador of PPMC magazine. Moreover, she was crowned as Miss Inspiring Hope 2016 2nd princess, Face of eMalahleni Miss Photogenic 2018 and a finalist for Miss Legacy South Africa 2020.

The 26-year-old joined Ms Africa 2021 for a platform to uplift her community while doing what she likes and to also better herself in the beauty pageant industry.

“I’ve always wanted to challenge myself to do something to change someone’s life and have the ability to give back to my community while I do something I love and gain self-confidence.’

She has done so much to earn her titles and she continues to seek more platforms to better the community as she enters for pageants. “I have raised funds for community organizations and contributed my efforts at certain local homes and shelters while I was part of a beauty pageant competition. I will start something online to give back to my community soon.”

She is inspired by these words: “We can’t change the world, but if we do small things together every day, we can achieve big things together and change someone’s world.” Furthermore, she looks up to Mrs Jane Mabe, Mrs Africa International 2019. “I look up to her because she never quits. I once met her and I was very excited. I learnt to believe in myself from her and to always try harder.”

Trudy would appreciate for the community to vote for her so she can reach her dreams. “The public can vote for me by SMSing “Ms11” to 47018 and SMS cost R2. Free or bundled SMS do not apply.”
